Welcome
- Greetings, my name is Bridget Dooley, and I'm excited to introduce myself as your new principal at Northport Elementary School. My career in education spans over three decades, giving me a deep appreciation for every stage of a student's journey.
- I've dedicated 11 years to teaching elementary students in the Bahamas and Minneapolis Public Schools, fostering a love for learning, inquiry and curiosity in young minds. As an instructional coach and teacher mentor for four years, I collaborated with teachers to develop their craft, build on their strengths, and grow as professionals.
- For the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading schools in Minneapolis Public Schools and Robbinsdale Area Schools that serve students from PreK through 8th grade. My work is driven by a deep belief in the potential of every child and a commitment to nurturing school communities where students, families, and staff feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow. Whether working with our youngest learners or middle schoolers preparing for the next chapter, I strive to lead with heart, purpose, and a focus on excellence.
- Most recently, I spent three years as a Director in Robbinsdale Area Schools of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction and Interim Assistant Superintendent, where I had the opportunity to oversee education for students from PreK all the way through high school. My diverse experience has given me a comprehensive perspective on education.
- I'm passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to thrive. At Northport Elementary School, our shared commitment to student success is what makes our community so special. I look forward to partnering with all of you—students, families, and staff—as we work together to build a strong and successful school community.
