“I Love to Read” Month was SO much fun! It was great seeing so many kids complete their reading challenges and get prizes.
I’m writing this during the blizzard and hoping that March brings us warmer weather in addition to our spring book fair. The book fair will be here from March 13th - 21st, open to families on conference nights. More information is on the way, or you can check out our Book Fair Homepage here.
Students will also get to vote for the winner of Minnesota’s very own book award, the Maud Hart Lovelace Award. K - 2nd will vote for “The Star of the North”, picking the best picture book. 3rd - 5th graders that have read 3 of the books for the “Maud Hart Lovelace” Division 1 will get to vote for their favorite as well. I wonder which books will be chosen by Minnesota students.
Tomorrow is the last day of February, in honor of "I Love to Read" month, it is comfy cozy day. Feel free to wear your comfy cozy clothes to school.
