With anticipation and deep belief in a promising future, Supt. Teri Staloch joyfully invites you to apply for a position on the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team that will rediscover and then reimagine Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale).

As you may have heard or read in the last few weeks, our district faces significant financial challenges. At the same time, too many of our students are not reading or doing math at grade level. For these and other reasons, it is imperative that we make an intentional change for the better.

We need dedicated thinking and commitment from members of our community to help lead that change – the transformation of our district into a model of educational and operational excellence unlike anything we have seen in public education before.

We are asking you to commit to monthly meetings and Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team activities over the next eight months. Meetings will go from 5 to 9 p.m. and accommodations (interpreters, childcare, dietary needs) will be taken into consideration.

• January – Wednesday, Jan. 29
• February – Tuesday, Feb. 25
• March – Tuesday, March 25
• April – Wednesday, April 30
• May – Tuesday, May 20
• June – Tuesday, June 17, 1–9 p.m. (full-day session to discuss recommendations)
• July – Thursday, July 10
• August – Wednesday, Aug. 13
• September – Report to board at work session, Monday, Sept. 15

As the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team process starts in January, Rdale will be kicking off an enormously diverse series of community engagement surveys and events, with the goal of earning feedback from no fewer than 50,000 people to tell us what they want to see in the newly envisioned Robbinsdale Area Schools. The data we collect from that engagement will inform our deliberations and decisions as the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team.
