Shining a light on DEI: celebrating diversity, sparking conversations in Rdale

Just over three years ago we created this electronic newsletter, We R All In, to highlight the work we do in Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) as it relates to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). 

There were many good things happening “behind the scenes,” but we didn’t always share them publicly. We R All In is just one way of doing that. We want to educate readers, provide resources, and share ideas we hope will lead to thought-provoking conversations or greater insights. We also want to recognize students and staff for their efforts related to DEI. 

Through this newsletter we get to honor, celebrate and recognize the beautiful cultures and rich traditions of our diverse school community. The newsletter is published monthly through the school year (September to May). 

We are proud of what we do in Rdale. As you read this month’s stories and those to come, I hope you are inspired to learn more about the topics we’ve written about. If you have ideas you would like us to consider for future issues, please share them with me at Toya_stewartdowney@rdale.org
