Welcome to Northport Elementary! Our school welcomes and celebrates students of many different cultures and backgrounds who cultivate their passions in our inclusive community school.

At Northport Elementary School we ground ourselves in being a BEAR (Belong, Empathize, Achieve, Respect). These words allow staff and students to empower each other to create a culture of learning through high expectations and positive relationships in order to achieve unique potential.
Northport Bears cultivate a sense of cultural understanding and empathy, fostering respect for both themselves and the experiences of others. Within our school community, we are dedicated to establishing an inclusive environment that values and supports every student. Our teachers celebrate the cultural diversity in our school, ensuring that learning is meaningful and relevant. Each year numerous events unite our school, in strengthening our deep connection to one another.
Northport Bears have remarkable opportunities to learn in many different ways, and our staff is here to support them. We believe relationships are central to student success and social emotional learning is essential for student growth. We integrate social emotional learning into our educational experience to nurture students’ overall development, fostering resilience, empathy and a positive school climate.
Our dedicated teachers provide individualized support and interventions to ensure all students receive the resources they need to develop.
We believe in strong family-school partnership. One of the many ways we do this is through our monthly family engagement evenings. We value the input of our families and believe open communication is essential for the success of our students.
Our full-day pre-K is the only full-day program in Robbinsdale Area Schools. The program is
for students who turn four years old before Sept. 1.
YOUR K-12 PATHWAY
Students who complete elementary school at Northport have the option to enroll at Robbinsdale Middle School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Students interested in pursuing arts, technology, and cultural understanding can continue their academic journey in Robbinsdale at FAIR School Crystal.
